graduated as a clothing designer (BA) from The Kuopio Academy of Design in Finland in 1999. After it she designed high-end ladies’ wear collections for Tazzia Ltd., an indigenous Finnish wholesaler and boutique chain and several colourful collections of children's schoolbags for a Finnish bag wholesaler Cassinna Ltd.
Heli moved to Ireland, after love, in spring 2007. The Green Isle loved her back with a great amount of inspiration and international business skills. In summer 2013 life threw her back to Finland where along with creating the famed Eco Furs she took a deep dive into the service design thinking. At the end of 2015 she celebrated her post-graduate Specialist Degree in the Service Product Development.
In all her work Heli swears to the name of creative solutions and genuinely great customer experiences. The environment and animal welfare are very close to her heart which sign-posts her way as a responsible designer. In addition to greatly enjoying the endless opportunities of today's digital world she has a great respect for traditional craftsmanship which she actively and with great enthusiasm keeps up by practising, further learning and sharing the old working methods.
